1980s Rawlings Montreal Expos White Baseball Jersey

$75

Vintage Rawlings Montreal Expos Authentic White Baseball Jersey, Size Men's Large, circa 1980s. Overall good condition with regular wear.

The Expos came closest to a pennant in 1981, when Gary Carter, André Dawson and rookie Tim Raines helped lead them to their first postseason. They reached Game 5 of the NLCS, but Rick Monday’s ninth-inning home run for the Dodgers ended the run in a game Montreal fans still remember as “Blue Monday.” The club also won 91 games in 1987, though it missed the playoffs.

Visit while in Montreal: Parc Jarry. The Expos played at Jarry Park Stadium from 1969 to 1976. The ballpark site is now IGA Stadium, but the surrounding city park is open daily from 6 a.m. to midnight. Take a walk through the park and along Rue Gary-Carter, named for the Expos’ Hall of Fame catcher.
