The Montreal Canadiens—better known as the Habs—are one of hockey’s most storied teams, with a history stretching back more than a century and a long list of legendary names in the rafters, including Maurice Richard, Guy Lafleur, Jean Béliveau, and Patrick Roy. The nickname “Habs” comes from les Habitants, a traditional term associated with French Canadians, while the team’s famous “CH” crest actually stands for Club de hockey Canadien. NHL Records

There is typical age-related yellowing/fading on the white portions of the stripes, numbers, and collar.There are a few small, faint localized sports/stains on the red and white fabric from age and previous use. The main neck tag is heavily frayed, but the secondary KLB Hockey Shop paper tag underneath is still intact. No major rips or structural holes; the fabric is incredibly tough, heavy, and holding up wonderfully. Guy Lafleur was one of the Montreal Canadiens’ most electrifying stars, famous for his flowing blond hair, blistering speed, and spectacular scoring ability.
