Lou Reed Coney Island Baby Vintage LP

$25

Coney Island Baby by Lou Reed. Vintage Vinyl, 12" in cardboard sleeve. Tested, very good playback quality.

Released in 1976, Coney Island Baby was a striking change of direction after Lou Reed’s abrasive, largely wordless Metal Machine Music. Here, he turns toward melody and warmth: the title song is an autobiographical love song, often read as a tribute to his partner Rachel Humphreys.

Vintage 1993 New York Knicks NBA Foam Finger from Madison Square Garden
New York Knicks foam finger bought at a game at Madison Square Garden in 1993. The New York Knicks have been part of the city’s basketball story since 1946. Their full name, the Knickerbockers, nods to an old New York nickname rooted in Dutch history.“ Knickerbocker” became associated with New York through writer Washington Irving. In 1809, he published a satirical history of the city under the name of a made-up Dutch historian, Diedrich Knickerbocker; the name caught on as a nickname for New Yorkers with Dutch roots and, more broadly, for New York itself. T Fun fact: they played in the league’s very first game, beating the Toronto Huskies 68–66, and Knick Ossie Schectman scored the league’s first points. Visit while in New York City:
